Through its events series, the Humanities Center creates opportunities for meaningful connections among humanities faculty across the university. Books in Dialogue celebrates long-form publications by bringing together two or three faculty or staff members who have recently published books on related topics. Humanities Coffee Hour sessions provide an opportunity for free-wheeling conversations about topical issues in the humanities and related fields. The Humanities Center also co-sponsors events organized by other units at Wayne State.
